Can my computer run crysis with a 2.1 GHz dual processor?

this is an add on to my other question if you want more info and all i want to know is can my computer run crysis if it needs a 2.8 GHz processor and mines is a 2.1 GHz dual amd athalon 64 processor.

If I run the game on low graphics, will i possibly be able to play the game lag free or is it just too weak.

PS. all of my other stats are good enough to run the game. it's just the processor im worried about. Can my computer run crysis with a 2.1 GHz dual processor?

Not well, no. Core 2 duos are pretty bad for Crysis. It eats them alive. Crysis runs 60% on the processor, and 40% on the graphics card. The specs on the box are just to make the game work. Even the recommended settings are too low for smooth frame rate. To give u an exmaple..my computer is

Intel Core i7 920 Overclocked to 3.2

Nvidia GTX 260 896mb

6gigs of ddr 1600mhz ram

and it gets 40fps average on ultra, and it's pretty much all the processor. Can my computer run crysis with a 2.1 GHz dual processor?
You can always download the free demo to try it out and see how it runs on your PC. On my 2.2Ghz Core 2 duo laptop with a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT. The game ran on average settings at roughly 30fps. But it wasn't worth it.

I'd get the game if I had a powerfull quad core with the best graphics card because other than it's graphics the game is quite boring. Just like Far Cry 2.
Crysis does not need a 2.8 GHz processor. It needs a 2.8 GHz Pentium 4 or better. So the question is -- is your CPU better than a 2.8 GHz Pentium 4? And the answer is yes.Can my computer run crysis with a 2.1 GHz dual processor?
memory memory memory. The better memory on your grafics card and computer is the best thing. Iver heard 3 gig would be better.
